Problem Statement

Managing laundry tasks is often seen as a time-consuming and difficult task, especially for busy professionals, students, and families. Many individuals struggle with finding convenient, reliable, and affordable laundry services. They face challenges such as unpredictable quality, inconvenient service hours, lack of transparency in pricing, and difficulty in scheduling pickups and deliveries that fit their busy lifestyles. Additionally, users often feel a lack of control over the specific washing, drying, and folding preferences, leading to dissatisfaction with the service. As a result, there is a need for a digital solution that simplifies the process of managing laundry services by offering a user-friendly, efficient, and customizable platform.

User Journey Map

The complete path from app launch to checkout. Onboarding, service selection, scheduling, and payment, mapped out before a single screen was designed.

User Flow

A consistent grid system was set up first to keep spacing and alignment predictable across every screen. Green was chosen as the core colour - it reads clean, fresh, and trustworthy, fitting naturally for a laundry service built around cleanliness. A sans-serif typeface in Regular and Medium weights keeps the interface easy to scan, especially across pricing, quantities, and item lists where clarity matters most.

Style Guide

Every existing laundry app felt unnecessarily complicated. The goal from the start was simplicity, an interface so intuitive that even a child could navigate it without instructions. Starting with hand sketches and moving into low-fidelity wireframes, the focus was on stripping the experience down to its essentials: clear actions, minimal decisions, and a layout that needs no explanation.

Final Design

A laundry app that does exactly what it set out to do, make the entire experience, from browsing services to placing an order, feel effortless. Every screen was designed with the end user in mind, resulting in a clean, structured interface that requires no learning curve. Simple enough for anyone to use, and thought-through enough to handle the full complexity of a laundry booking flow without it ever feeling complicated.
